Until this summer, he was Creative Lead for the Government Digital Service (GDS) at the Cabinet Office. He joined the team in March 2011, creating the prototype “Alphagov” site before moving on to designing transactions for GOV.UK (launched November 2012).

Tom is a technologist, designer, and writer. He makes tools, toys, and art out of hardware, software, and the network; he likes to think with his hands. He’s worked on worked on everything from a large-scale website to aggregate UK schools data to giant, multi-part games that span a Parisian art gallery; he’s somewhat notable for making a bridge talk on Twitter. He runs a personal weblog at infovore.org. He lives and works in London.
Marit Dorothea Bjørnstad
Marit works at the Norwegian Tax Administration as a communication advisor. She works to make tax understandable for the mainstream audience through skatteetaten.no. Marit used to be a journalist before she joined the Norwegian Tax Administration.
Sara Wachter-Boettcher is an independent content strategist, writer, and editor living in Lancaster, PA. She got this way after stints as a journalist, copywriter, and web writer, during which she became increasingly dissatisfied with the chaos typically found in web content projects and became determined to find a better way.
Today Sara focuses on designing systems for flexible, adaptable, future-friendly content, which she writes about in her first book, Content Everywhere from Rosenfeld Media. When she’s not consulting with clients or partnering with agencies, she’s serving as editor in chief of A List Apart; contributing to publications like Contents and The Manual; and speaking about content strategy and user experience at conferences worldwide. Aslak is a musician, tech journalist and writer. He is mostly known as a rapper in the Norwegian group Gatas Parlament. But nowadays he spends his time wriiting about technology, people and the future on aslak.idg.no. He is the editor of computerworld.no. Aslak will be the host at Webdagene.
Ove is one of Norways top experts on web content and strategy. He is the author of two books on the topics and speaks regularly at conferences. He works at Netlife Research with content, strategy and customer experience.
Derek is an internationally-known speaker and authority on accessibility and web design. He works with a great team at Simply Accessible, based in Ottawa, Canada. The team works with Fortune 500 corporations, educational institutions, public utilities, government agencies and other private sector clients. He always puts the user first and strives to make the web a better place by designing experiences that are easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities.
Jeroen van Geel
Jeroen is creative director and partner at Oak & Morrow, a strategic design studio. Jeroen has initiated many design projects, ranging from the next generation mobile apps for Dutch public transport to interactive projects for Rijksmuseum and the ground breaking new automated border control systems at Schiphol.
At Webdagene 2012 he held this inspiring talk about the product narrative, this year he is back with a workshop on designing products with personality.
Aleksander is manager for Digital & E-Commerce in GE Money Bank. He has worked with internet related projects since he was a teenager and work and hobby is kind of the same thing for him.
Tom is an interaction/information designer at NRK (the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation). He lectures on information design internationally and works with great passion to increase the understanding of this area, among other things through organizing the GrafillEdit conference.
Linda Christin Halvorsen
Linda is a concept developer at BEKK. After finishing her Master degree in industrial design she did not think she would work with interaction design. She was wrong. 5 years and many many wireframes later she has finally found her niche: to develop creative concepts with good user experience.
Kari is an engineer in the field of telecommunication. She studied interaction design and cognitive psychology at University College London. For 20 years she did research on user interfaces before becoming an employee at Netlife Research in 2008. Kari helps customers turn needs and goals into action on their website, intranet or applications.
Jean-Baptiste is founder and CEO of WeWantToKnow, creator of the award winning educational algebra game DragonBox. WeWantToKnow maintains the audacious goal of delivering K-12 mathematics knowledge to any child in 30 hours of gameplay. Huynh is passionate about user interface, children and learning. Before creating WeWantToKnow. He was a teacher, a children´s magazine editor and in a previous life stock portfolio manager.
Johan is an interaction and service designer working as a strategic advisor at Making Waves. He is one of those who grew up with a screen in front of him. He spent his teenage years in the childhood of internet and is called “Digitale native” by people over 50.
Jonathan Kahn organises events (Confab London, Dare Conference, London Content Strategy Meetup), presents worldwide (CS Forum Paris/Cape Town, IxDA Dublin, IA Konferenz Germany, Confab Minneapolis), and writes (A List Apart, Contents, lucid plot) about the revolutionary changes facing organisations, through the lens of user experience, content strategy, and governance. Originally a web developer, he’s worked as an information architect and user experience consultant, and he’s a content strategy advocate.

Christine is a famous Norwegian host and comedian. She is mostly known for awardwinning TV shows (Koht vs Diva, Jan Johansen – jakten på den norske mannen and Koht i familien). At Webdagene she will do the closing keynote about the generation shift.
Kate Kiefer Lee
Kate is a writer, editor and content strategist at MailChimp. She publishes MailChimp’s content along with the creative team, and works across departments to develop and maintain the company’s voice and tone standards. She helps organizations create useful style guides and blogs about web writing at Forbes.com. Kate lives in Atlanta with her husband and dog.
Jenn is the Interactive Development Director at Happy Cog in Philadelphia. She writes for The Nerdary, has a regular column in .net magazine, and is a contributor to The Pastry Box Project.
Jenn was named one of Mashable’s 15 Developer/Hacker Women to Follow on Twitter, and you can find her on Twitter posting development and cat related news. When she’s not crafting sites with the finest of web standards, Jenn teaches HTML and CSS for GirlDevelopIt.
Eivind works with content for Netlife Research`s customers. But he is also known for funny and inspiring talks on everything from web to HR. At Webdagene he will be hosting one of the parallel sessions.
Jostein is one of the founders of Netlife Research. He has been a central figure in the area of usability in Norway since 2001, and is one of Norway’s best speakers on the topic.
David is a London-based author, data-journalist and information designer, working across print, advertising, TV and web. His blog and best-selling book Information Is Beautiful are dedicated to visualising ideas, issues, knowledge and data – and to discovering new patterns and stories in the seas of data swamping and surrounding us. His information design work has appeared in over forty publications internationally including The Guardian, Wired and Die Zeit. His commercial clients include Google, GE and the BBC.
Daniel is one of the founders of Holder de ord. He is a political scientist and has worked for TNS Gallup, as a freelance journalist and worked with website development for UN and Norwegian organisations.
Lou is founder of Rosenfeld Media, a publishing house focused on user experience books. He has been instrumental in helping establish the fields of information architecture and user experience, and in articulating the role and value of librarianship within those fields. Lou is author of Information Architecture for the World Wide Web and Search Analytics for Your Site, co-founder of the Information Architecture Institute, and a former columnist for Internet World, CIO, and Web Review.
Tomer Sharon is a Senior User Experience Researcher at Google Search in New York City and author of the book, It’s Our Research: Getting stakeholder buy-in for user experience research projects (2012). He founded and led The Israeli chapter of the user experience professionals’ association and is a mentor at Google’s Campus TLV, a program including UX learning, collaboration, and mentorship for Israeli startups. Tomer holds a master’s degree in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University in Waltham, MA.
Christian is web editor and projectmanager for the new website of UDI (Norwegian Directorate of Immigration) to be launched in 2014. He has worked with websites in the public sector for many years and runs the blog webetaten.no.
Kjell-Morten Bratsberg Thorsen
Kjell-Morten holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and a background as a developer. His passion is to find good solutions inspired by user needs, business goals, and technical possibilities, and to improve them over time through measurement and continual adjustment.
He is an interaction designer at Netlife Research and works among other things with measurement and identification of users needs at the Norwegian Post (Posten and Bring) and KLP. He has held presentations and workshops at conferences such as Software2013 and Iceweb.
Ragnar is founder and creative leader at Red Thread Games, a new gamestudio in Oslo. Red Thread Games is working on the game “Dreamfall Chapters” a continuation of “The longest journey” and “Dreamfall”. Ragnar has been in the game industry for 20 years and is also behind the creation of the online universe “The Secret world” made by Funcom in 2012.
Torgeir is director for internet and new media at IKT-Norge where he works on questions related to the internet.
